Who you are buying from
moof is a trading name of Palunix OÜ, a company registered in Estonia under Registry code 17537661. Our address is Priisle tee 18, 13914 Tallinn, Estonia. You can write to us at [email protected].
VAT number: EE103000703.
These terms apply to every order placed through this shop. We may change them, but the version you agreed to at the moment of your order is the one that counts for that order.
What we make
Every lamp is made to order. You choose the size, the colour, the texture, the cable and the socket, and we build that exact piece for you. We describe each object as accurately as we can. Materials are worked by hand, so small differences in grain, tone and finish belong to the object rather than being faults, and a colour on a screen is never exactly a colour in a room.
Your order
Placing an order is an offer to buy. The agreement between us comes into being when we confirm your order by email. That email repeats the configuration you chose, so please read it: we start making that piece, and after that a change is no longer always possible.
We may decline an order, for example if an object cannot be made as configured, if the price was clearly wrong, or if we cannot deliver to your address. If we do, we say so promptly and refund anything you have paid.
Prices and payment
All prices are in euro and include the taxes that apply to your order. Shipping is calculated and shown separately before you pay. The price that applies is the price shown at the moment you place your order.
Payment is handled by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe and never reach our own servers. We start production once the payment has been received.
Delivery
We ship within the European Union. Making time, shipping costs and the carrier are described on our shipping and returns page. Risk passes to you when the parcel is handed over to you or to someone you have appointed, other than the carrier.
Changing your mind
As a consumer you have fourteen days after receiving your order to tell us you are withdrawing from the purchase, without giving a reason. How that works, and the one exception the law makes for goods made to your specification, is set out on the shipping and returns page.
If something is wrong
Your object must be what we described and must do what you may reasonably expect of it. If it is not, you have two years from delivery to hold us to that. Tell us within a reasonable time of noticing, and we will repair the object, replace it, or refund you, depending on what is proportionate. This right exists alongside the fourteen days above and is not affected by it.
Complaints and disputes
Write to [email protected] first. We answer every complaint, and we try to do it within fourteen days. If that does not resolve it, a consumer may bring the matter to the Consumer Disputes Committee of the Estonian Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority, or use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
Liability
We are liable for damage caused by our own failure to meet this agreement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, except where the law does not allow us to exclude it — including where the damage is caused by our intent or gross negligence, or affects life, body or health. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law gives you as a consumer.
Which law applies
Estonian law applies to this agreement. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the European Union, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your own country; this choice of law does not take that away.
